I would like to thank John Henley, my mentor and friend, all of my wonderful fellow booksellers that I continually learn from, my customers and collectors the bring the need for books to the table, and the advisers on this project that tested and keep testing to help make this a useful tool.

We begin using a copy of Dealers Thesaurus in my used, rare, out of print bookstore Michael’s Books in Bellingham Washington. We found this book to be invaluable. We used it in cataloging our books for sale. We bought copies and sold them to others in our store and online. We have sold dozens of copies to to people all over the world. When I contacted Lynn Vigeant to order more books in 2006 I asked her if she intended to reprint as she was running low on her stock. She indicated that she did not intend to reprint and offered me the opportunity to buy the rights from her. I felt that this book was ready to be expanded and offered to the bookselling trade as a reference and a workbook. Do not hesitate to add descriptions of your own and send them on to us to be included in future editions. Lynn’s monumental undertaking has been expanded and enhanced using historic bookseller catalog, book auction descriptions and submissions from working booksellers. We have increased the collection. We welcome your submissions. Substantive contributors will be honored in future edition of Dealers Thesaurus now called the Bookseller's Thesaurus online. We want this to be a usefull tool for beginner to experienced booksellers and catalogers. I wish to thank my wonderful staff at Michael’s Books that is a constant help and inspiration to me.
